Immunisation Support Officer

  • Permanent Part Time - 38 hours per fortnight
  • $64,807-$68,968pa (pro-rata) plus superannuation

Located at the geographical centre of Victoria, within one hour's drive from Ballarat or Bendigo, and just two hours from Melbourne sits Central Goldfields Shire Council. About the role

This position provides quality front-line customer service at all Central Goldfields Shire immunisation sessions, ensuring a positive experience for the community and the smooth operation of the program. The role also assists in the organisational aspects of the community and school immunisation programs and provides data entry support.

You will love this opportunity to:

  • Ensure quality data entry of vaccines provided to clients of our service.
  • Assist in logistics management of immunisation clinics.
  • Advise the Immunisation Team Leader/Nurse in charge at clinics of matters requiring attention.
  • Proactively seek out and suggest new ideas for improved service delivery.
  • Provide an accurate and accountable receipt service for any clinic payments.
  • Hold a current driver's license (desirable).

NB: Days of work are negotiable, including the ability to work school hours if desired.

As a local government employee you are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid19, or hold a valid medical exemption prior to commencement.
