About the role

This exciting new position will be responsible for the development, implementation and improvement of occupational health and safety programs, policies, procedures, and practices. The OHS advisor will support all Council's service areas in relation to OHS, including providing up-to-date OHS advice, monitoring compliance with OHS requirements, analysing incidents and undertaking safety audits.

You will hold a Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety with experience working hands on to embed a culture of safety throughout the organisation.
