About the role

The Coordinator Facilities oversees the effective and efficient coordination of all works and upgrades associated with the construction and maintenance related to Council's buildings and facilities. Council's buildings range from Council chambers to community halls, to heritage listed buildings that are important to the community, our facilities include swimming pools, netball courts and basketball courts. The Coordinator manages, motivates, and develops staff and ensures teams are effective in day-to-day operations. This position ensures that resources are utilised as required to assist all Council departments in their corporate, operational or maintenance activities.

About you

This full-time position suits someone who has demonstrated team leadership, employee management and supervisory skills with experience in facilities management or a relevant trade qualification. Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant regulations will assist you in the development and implementation of maintenance programs across all council facilities.
