About the role
With a vision of being a vibrant, thriving, inclusive community, our strategic planner is a key member of the strategy and economic development team focussed on delivering policies, strategic and implementing projects that achieve this.
The strategic planner will focus on land use and development policies that provide for economic and commercial and industrial growth while managing our natural environment.
You will bring demonstrated understanding of the Victorian planning system and relevant legislation, and range of issues impacting upon regional and rural councils and an ability to develop effective working relationships and work collaboratively with various stakeholders with divergent views, successfully negotiating to achieve good outcomes.
You will have tertiary qualifications in planning and have experience in working as a planner.
