About the role

We are about to commence the implementation of a new Human Resources Information and Payroll system and are seeking an experienced payroll officer with demonstrated experience in reviewing current payroll practices and data to ensure compliance and accuracy with the relevant industrial instruments and to enable "clean" data to be uploaded to the new system.

You will have previous experience in the preparation for, implementation of and embedding of a new HRIS. You will work with payroll and human resources staff as a key member of the implementation team to ensure user guides are created for system administrators and general users and that the relevant training is provided in relation to Employee Self Service from a payroll perspective.

On a day-to-day basis, you will support the payroll unit in producing the fortnightly pay, including checking of timesheet entries and approval of the pay run summary.
