About the role

Council is growing the Strategy and Economic Development team and we are creating a new position to support strategic actions in the area of environmental sustainability.

The successful applicant will undertake environmental strategy development and implementation, particularly in regard to climate change mitigation and adaptation. The position will focus on the organisation's own actions as well as developing industry and community capacity to address environmental sustainability issues. Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience will be important in selecting the right person for this role.
