About the role

Do you want to play an integral part for council wide business transformation of multiple systems and applications? Be the key "go to" person for technical and application support. Help the council on its journey to Microsoft 365 in the cloud, help establish a range of new cloud based collaboration tools. Support council staff with PC, laptop, tablet and mobile device support.

You will carry out help desk functions, systems monitoring, reporting, and assisting the Manager Business Transformation and other senior IT staff with project implementations. Work with the latest technology for servers, cloud and client hardware and software. Be part of the rollout of SharePoint, Mobile Device Management, End Point Security and much more. Get exposure to geographical information systems and records management systems administration and support.

To be successful in this role you must have a customer service centric focus for delivering excellent support, enjoy working as part of a small but dynamic team for a local government with a wide range of community focused activities and services.
