Municipal Fire Prevention Officer
- Temporary, Five Month Contract
- 30.4 hours per week per fortnight
Central Goldfields Shire is recruiting for a Municipal Fire Prevention Officer to join the team.
The Municipal Fire Prevention Officer works collaboratively with Central Goldfields Shire employees, relevant authorities and the community to ensure that Council complies with fire prevention statutory obligation as outlined in the Country Fire Authority Act 1958. The incumbent will work strategically to continually develop and maintain a ‘partnership approach' to fire management based on relationships at all levels within the organisation, the community and external agencies.
You will will have substantial experience in the area of fire prevention and regulatory services, knowledge of relevant legislation and excellent community engagement and communication skills.
